Activity 1: Draw a safe space (30 min)

Step 1: 

Each learner is given paper, crayons, magazines and other craft materials.

Step 2:

Each learner should draw a place where they feel safe, and a place where they feel unsafe. They must explore the colours that they associate with safety, and the colours they associate with feeling unsafe. The drawings can be abstract or realistic.
They can also make a collage of images with cut-out pictures from a magazine.
