HEARTLINES NEW FILM IN DEVELOPMENT

With its next film, HEARTLINES is branching out into the comedy drama genre. With a working title "Nothing for Mahala", HEARTLINES' next film will continue the values theme, but will take a humourous look at someone on his way to the top who is the last person to get involved in helping out. The film will also support HEARTLINES' venture into the social networking space and be part of a campaign to popularise the www.forgood.co.za movement.

ForGood
INTRODUCING THE MARKETPLACE

Since going live with a test site in June, forgood has attracted over 2000 members, and over 500 groups have registered and posted opportunities for people to give time, money or material goods.

In November 2011 we introduced the Marketplace where the needs from all the groups are centralised and it makes it easier for people to give. And if the joy of giving isn’t enough, there is even an incentive. Each month there are domestic kulula flights to be won by one lucky person who donates to a need, one for themselves and one to donate to a cause.

YOUNG PEOPLE WORKING TOGETHER FOR CHANGE


The happy smiles hide a lot of misery around unemployment, concerns about drug and alcohol abuse and helplessness. But these young people are desperate for change in their community and have committed to work together towards positive change.

Veeplaas, a community near to Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape Province, is the latest community to sign up to the Heartlines Integrated Community Develoment initiative.
