Activity: Graffiti board (10 min)

Step 1:
Place two pieces of butcher paper on the wall, or divide the chalkboard into two
and write these headings on either side:
WHAT ARE STORIES? WHY DO WE TELL THEM?
Step 2:
Explain to learners what to write on the board. Tell learners their comments must
relate to the topic, and that rude or nasty words and images should not be drawn.
Then have the learners go to each sheet and write words or images in response to
these questions.
Step 3:
Go through the terms and words on the board with the class.
