Fathers Matter Stakeholders
Fathers Matter Stakeholders
Fathers Matter is one of many organisations in South Africa working to change the narrative around fatherhood in South Africa. Part of our work includes strengthening networks of individuals and organisations in the sector to build and share knowledge and resources.

Rethinking Fatherhood, Gender, and Masculinity in South Africa: A Symposium on Youth Perspectives

“Are we a seed in our father before we're in our mother's womb?”
Fathers Matter wasn’t created to invalidate the important role that mothers play. We want to highlight and support the positive and active role fathers and men play in the lives of children, in order to lessen the risks linked to the absence of fathers or positive male role models.
Fathers Matter has collaborated on a number of webinars to increase advocacy and awareness about fatherhood. These include stakeholder discussions to help generate ideas for continuing the work in our sector, discussing the state of fatherhood in South Africa, exploring positive interventions to support father involvement and collaborations with other stakeholder organisations on their webinars.
You can view all our Fathers Matter webinars on the dedicated Webinars tab under Media in our navigation bar, or click on the link below.
