The Big Question

Is there something that I am doing that is not honest? Is it worrying me?

BIBLE VERSES

Colossians 3:23-24
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, notfor human masters,
since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Proverbs 16:11
Honest scales and balances belong to the LORD; all the weights in the bag are of his making.

Philipians 2:15

so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.”[a] Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

  • What are some reasons for my dishonesty?
  • What are the results of my being dishonest?
  • Have I been completely honest, and where can I change?
  • What are the advantages of being an honest worker or employer?

FINANCIAL HEALTH TIPS

  • Be honest with your family about your financial
    situation.
  • Be honest with your employer about your financial situation.

Moving Forward

What one or two commitments can I make right now that will help me to be more honest with my employer, or source of income, or with my employee?

If neither of these scenarios applies, then, what commitment can I make to be more honest with my family members?
