Lots of laughter, and a few tears, at Jozi Fathers Matter Premiere

“I didn’t think I could have so much fun, and wipe away tears at the same time! These films are a wow!”

That was the sentiment shared by attendees at the Johannesburg premiere of the Heartlines Fathers Matter Films Series.

Celebrated on Spring Day at the SABC Studios in Auckland Park, guests, cast members, directors, and crew watched two of the six films in the series and engaged in conversations around fatherhood. Panellists included Lala Thuku, SABC Head of Local Production and Dr Garth Japhet, CEO of Heartlines who shared their hope for the conversation on positive fatherhood to have a national impact.
