Developing a socio-ecological model for community engagement in a health programme in an underserved urban area
This article develops a socio-ecological model for community engagement in health programmes, focusing on underserved urban areas. The findings highlight how multi-level interventions, addressing individual, community, and systemic factors, can lead to sustained health behaviour change. This model provides a type of blueprint for designing health interventions that engage communities in addressing their unique health challenges.
