Behaviour change communication to improve complementary feeding practices in Ethiopia: Couples' beliefs concerning paternal involvement in childcare
The study examines how behaviour change communication (BCC) strategies can influence couples’ perceptions of fathers' roles in childcare, particularly in complementary feeding. The research highlights that engaging both mothers and fathers through targeted BCC can shift traditional beliefs, leading to increased paternal involvement in feeding practices. This change not only supports better nutritional outcomes for children but also promotes gender equity in childcare responsibilities.
