HEARTLINES ACKNOWLEDGED FOR MAKING THE DIFFERENCE

Heartlines received a Special Commendation Award at a glittering gala dinner on 25 February at the Mpumalanga Legislature in recognition of our role in Making the Difference in Mpumalanga.

The 2010 Corporate Social Investment and Responsibility Awards for Mpumalanga, which were organised by HomeGrown Magazines, is the first time that organisations have been publicly celebrated for the work they are doing to build the province’s communities, thereby making the world a better place.

Heartlines won an award in the Not-for-profit organisation category, in recognition of the positive impact that filming HOPEVILLE in the picturesque but impoverished railway town of Waterval Boven had on the local community by bringing badly needed income to the town, and helping unite the community.
