HEARTLINES COMES TO TOWN HOSTS PICNIC

The Heartlines Comes to Town initiative "Safer South", which recently cleaned up the Hector Norris Park in Rosettenville, held a community picnic there on Heritage Day.

When the community turned out in force to clean up the park a month ago, they did so because they wanted to take back the space from criminals and use it for family oriented activities. Now they've put that into practice with a Community Picnic held on Heritage Day. A special poem was handed out, which encourages pride in the community, and calls on everyone to take small actions that will help stop crime.
