Heartlines and partners Nedbank and Young & Able travelled to the Eastern Cape and spent a week in Mthatha. Arriving on the August 1, the team hit the ground running and spent the week there holding multiple workshops (sometimes having them run concurrently). By the time the team left Mthatha, a total of 21 events had been held and reaching 6 348 people.
Among these were High School students seen during assemblies and LO classes as well as DCS Spiritual Care workers who were taught the money values and will impart them to people in conflict with the law. LO teacher training was also done and community viewings held in colleges as well as centres around Mthatha.
